I still do not have Photoshop, it's kind of annoying. I don't have flash ethier, not like my tablet worked on Flash CS4 anyway. I really wanted to make some animations. ;-;

The next tablet upgrade I want is the Intuous4 large tablet, but thats $400 and I'm too cheap to buy it at the moment. Even though I'd use it everyday haha. Stupid School, keeping me from spending my Subway checks on frivilous art things.

Some good news, my mom and i are getting a little closer. We talk on the phone more. We haven't been meeting for lunch because of work and school conflictions. I'm feeling happier lately. Did you know PMS is practically a myth? It only affects emotions rarely? Most women are just irritated that they are bloated and bleeding, not that the body change is actually giving them the short fuse. Knowing that I've felt better and I seldom bite my boyfriend's head off. (wow that could be taken soooo dirty)

I've been reading some non-fiction books, trying to get wiser without the pain of personal experience. So I've read these two books called Social Intelligence, and Practical Intellgence. I do not have street smarts. They're pretty funny and interesting, the author is a big business person thing and likes humor. They helped me a lot, I can look at things less emotionally and be calmer.

It also shows you some toxic behaviors you may be having. For example, the puppy-dog. The one that won't let things go or give effort to fix them. "Yea, my husband abuses me. *sigh.*" "then leave him!" "But I love him..." *repeat everyday*

Or you're afraid of inviting someone because all they ever talk about was their breakup or whatever. I can see some things like that in me. I won't let some things go for a whole day and get people's nerves. I'm learning to avoid that.

Oh, if you want a new vampire series to read that isn't Twilightish, Vampire Academy is pretty good. It's a first-person narrative. The main characer's name is Rose Hathaway and she can take care of herself, she's a dhampir who protects her best friend the Royal Lissa, who is a moroi or full vampire. They don't sparkle. And they can use magic! However, the dhampir gaurdians like Rose just kick ass with stakes. They fight the strigoi, who are the "immortal" evil vampires that feed off of moroi.

All in all it's a good entertaining romance, adventure book where the girls are not hoplessly clumsy, and the boys are hot without the sparkles.
